The Grand Old Duke of York

This is a good camp song that can be performed as a round (similar to Row Your Boat). Start the second group when the first group starts the third line. You can optionally add a third (and even fourth) group every two lines thereafter.

The grand old Duke of York
He had ten thousand men
He marched them up the hill
And he marched them down again!

Now when you’re up, you’re up
And when you’re down, you’re down
And when you’re only halfway up
You’re neither up nor down!
